  1. Great Plugin! Setting it and testing it - none of the email addresses that we entered into the front side were delivered? Is there some where to configure detailed email settings (smtp server etc)?

  2. Thanks, I am glad you like the plugin. Please check the spam folder, if you didn't get any error message it should be delivered.

  3. I'm receiving "A message that you sent contained no recipient addresses, and therefore no
delivery could be attempted." when someone signs up through the plugin. When I check the To: and From: fields then are blank.

Did I miss something on the setup?

  4. @drichards18: Please check if you receive any email, I just submitted the form with my email address on your website and seems it went through fine. Also do check your spam folder.

In case you receive any error in the mail please forward it me so I can do some research on the same.

  5. Would you like me to post the email or send it to you? If you want me to email it, what email address should I use? I received an error email stating that there was no recipient, so it looks like it's not plugging it into the email code? But I'll let you check :)

  6. I checked the xHTML code on your website and all variables seems fine. Email should be delivered to support [at] loggerheadfit dot com. I would love to research on the issue you are facing so please forward the email.

You can find my email address on the contact page.

  7. Hi, I am experiencing the same challenge on a fresh WP 2.86 install with no other plug-ins installed. The page displays fine. When a visitor enters his/her e-mail address and clicks "Notify Me" then the "waiting" graphic shows (the three white and grey boxes in the bar). It looks like it is doing something, but never completes and never sends an e-mail.

This is not a spam or virus problem on this end. The server is not getting the e-mail to send. Is there a place I can specify the e-mail server and the port? Is this using standard SMTP?

Great extension! Looks so nice. I just want to get this one thing working and then I'm done. Thanks!

    Blessings! Chuck

  8. I checked it and seems like there's some issue with IE, will fix it asap and release an update for the same.

Thanks for your support and heads up to make it perfect.

  9. Just a note...

You might want to check it against Firefox also. I don't use IE so it must be cross-platform.

BTW - we appreciate all of the time and energy you put into these things. I just started using the Imagination Theme, and let me tell you - it rocks!

  12. Your plugin idea’s excellent. But I am facing few problems.

Like…it shows javascript errors on this line:

    var liftoffTime = new Date(, – 1, , 0, 0);

Yes..date variables are not being used from settings.

Moreover, Image url is not being used from the settings menu. I have to manually enter the values in themes file. Its not using from settings menu.

Also neither its using twitter/facebook and feed settings. Seems its not picking up the settings at all.

Nor it uses Meta descriptions and keywords entered.

Tested on another blog too…settings don’t update there also.

I have tried all past versions of your plugin, problem is consistent in all versions.

A Suggestion for next version – ability to specify your own favicon or use default favicon from the site’s root directory.

Please fix the error. I am using Wordpress 2.8.6

  14. @navjotjsingh: Please share if you are getting any kind of error message on any page. I will add the option for favicon in next release.

  18. I just upgraded and I have good news and bad news.

Good News - I went to the site using Firefox and input my my email address. Viola! I received a confirmation email stating that this person has just subscribed to my list. Awesome!

Bad New - I went to the site using IE 6 and 7. When I input the email address and hit Enter or click Notify Me, "Please Wait..." shows and the 3-bar status bar under it goes crazy. But it never stops doing this and "Thank You" never shows. Not to mention I never receive the confirmation email.

  19. Ok...got it working...at http://tech.nspeaks.com

For NSPeaks, it has a strange problem. Normally settings are saved in the db with this name:

    cj_splash_page_basic_configuration

But for NSPeaks blog, setting name is

    swiftbasic_configuration

Where swift is the name of the theme I am using. And maybe this is the reason, it does not work.

Couldn't understand, how your plugin is generating this name for saving in settings bar.

The theme Swift is found at: http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/swift/

Can you pls check how your plugin is interfering with this theme?

    I'm having the same problem.

Works fine on Firefox, but IE just stcks at the 'please wait' message after you press the 'notify me' button.

Anybody got it working on IE?
